    陈咀镇是闻名全国的鲜食玉米之乡。鲜食玉米年复种面积3万亩，产量7500万穗，主要销往北京、天津、东北、内蒙等地区；年出口在800万穗以上，主要销往韩国日本等国。已被市命名为天津市无公害鲜食玉米生产基地，两个鲜食玉米深加工企业绿田公司和田园农产品产销合作社坐落在本镇。这一产业可为发展农副产品深加工企业提供丰富的原辅材料资源，并为大力发展现代化奶牛产业和畜牧养殖业提供源源不断的饲料资源。

    Chen Zui town is well-known throughout China for being the main planting place of Fresh-table maize. The annual planting area reaches 30,000 Chinese acres and the annual output is 75 million pieces. The goods are mainly sold to Beijing, Tianjin, Northeast and Inner Mongolia. And also the annual exportation reaches more than 8 million pieces to Korea and Japan etc. Chen Zui town has already been named as Tianjin Pollution-free Fresh-table maize planting base. Two Fresh-table maize deep processing enterprises, Green Filed Company and Tian Yuan Agricultural Product Corporation, locate in Chen Zui town. Fresh-table maize crop offers abundant raw material for agricultural byproduct, and offer the continuous feed source for developing modernized cow industry and stockbreeding.
